Why do you prefer the magnum needles over the shaders?
The magnum needles cover the skin with less risk of over saturating the stretch mark with ink. When you over saturate the stretch mark with color you can highlight the stretch mark and make it worse.

Why don’t you use numbing cream for stretch marks?
The numbing cream can block some of the penetration of the ink or inkless method. Especially if there is lidocaine in it. The treatment is tolerable without numbing cream, so it is wise to do it without numbing. Most clients report a discomfort no more than a 4, on a scale 1-10.
When color matching do you choose the undertone first or start with the Fitzpatrick?
I always decide the Fitzpatrick first. Then determine the undertone . Then I use the cheat sheets and place the ink on the skin allowing it to dry to see how it dries into the skin.
What color veins are cool under tone?
Typically, blue or purple veins have cool undertones. Green or olive are warm and if they are blue-green they are neutral.
How old should stetchmarks be before you camouflage them?
With some exceptions, you should treat stretch marks when they are a year old.
Can microneedling be used to prepare for camouflaging?
Yes you absolutely can, because of the collagen induction produced. However, you should consider doing the Inkless Method in replacement of microneedling , because it treats hyperpigmentation and pigmented skin too. You want the stretchmarks to be as light as possible when you do decide to use ink. Inkless can get you there when there is pigment and also produces skin tightening and texture improvement of the stretchmark just as microneedling does. Essentially you are getting the same benefit with the Inkless Method as microneedling plus you are treating pigment. (If the skin type appears to pigment easily , you can use the Inkless Method as a patch test too).

On average how many treatments does a client need to get to the goal?
Every client is different depending on skin type , how well the skin heals, and how well they follow the after care. On average it is 1-4 treatments per client. I always explain this to clients and under promise versus over promising.
What dilution should I start with?
I recommend when learning to stick with 50%.
How can you make the tattoo lasts many years?
Wearing a good sunscreen over your treatment especially when exposed to the sun can help maintain it for years!
